End of year with end of era - 28.12.2025

End of Year, What's Next

End of year is here, again. So quick, so fast, so early and never ready. This year, at least, I was lucky enough that I did not get bombarded with workload in my work before the holiday. Maybe, this is also the sign of economy going down and upcoming tougher times... On the other hand, I have managed to find more than enough time to move my spare time coding projects forward, do some clean up and start making plans for next year. Although I have written otherwise at the start, it seems like I am quite ready for upcoming year.

So what's next? Any plans? Well, yes. I definitely want to take more photos and maybe share more here adding another page or two. Fortran build program 'fob.f90' is almost complete, I just need to test all the commands thoroughly, do some clean up and implement crude version of preprocessor alike function inside. Having said that, I am still torn apart whether I should include preprocessor or not since it's code is now making up about 1/3 of the whole code. I will try to release first version by the end of January. I will also try to add more stuff to the coding side of things.

There will be more. I do not like to plan too much but for sure there will be. Let's see what will be there. Now, just little note on the photo I have added for this post. It is a photo of the window/luggage rack in polish PKP EN57 train stock. It is the most produced rolling stock in the world. While there are a lot of these that got modified and upgraded that sometimes merely resemble the original, the original ones are slowly getting replaced with newer shinier and less comfortable ones. Why it is always the old ones that had softer padding on their seats? Anyway, sad that it is slowly getting replaced and eventual day of withdrawal is getting closer. It seems like one kind of an era is coming to an end in Poland. Is it going to be good? Let's see.
